This will become a mirror. Using a bottle with a minute pen-like opening, I drew the red and layered it twice. It was then dipped in a clear glaze. The confetti glaze makes me happy!

Chocolate chip clay gives a rich differentiation to the glazes. Using wax resist, the original clay shows through without glaze.
Overlapping glazes, whether dipped or splashed, creates interesting dimensions that potters can visualize. The true results are never known until the pottery comes out of the glaze firing. Even positioning within the kiln can make a difference in the results. The kiln fairy is truly in charge!
